It's finally official and I can let everyone in on the big news! KTM Signs Maria Forsberg to Factory FMF/KTM Racing Team!

Well, a lot has happened since I was able to write last.

Gosh, it seems like I'm late in getting race stories out the past couple of months. Let's just say, I've been really busy. Anyhow... Can you believe it?

It was the 7th win in-a-row this past weekend in 8 GNCC races this year for our star Maria!

Just a quick note to let you all know that Maria won Rd 2 of the Endurocross series, making it two in a row for our superstar!

I've been out of communications all week and I just finally got the news.

Maria and Her RPM/Factory KTM win GNCC Round 9, the John Penton GNCC Race in Millfield, OH by a whopping 3 minutes!

Broken down rental Car, no cell service, up at 1am race morning (to pick up replacement rental car), no sleep, all equals Crazy Weekend!

After two rounds of weather related GNCC cancellations and a wedding, you might think that Maria's focus would be a little shifted.

Just a quick update. Maria holds off Mandi Mastin for the win at Big Bug GNCC Rd 4 in Union, SC.

Maria and her RPM/KTM take to the mud like well, use your favorite analogy--you get the idea,

"I won Scott!!!" That was the text I received from Maria shortly after Sundays GNCC round 2 race in Washington, GA. Needless to say,

After a long hot race and battling through some physical affects of the heat, Maria hangs in to earn a respectable 2nd place at round 1 of the 2011 GNCC series held at River Ranch, Florida.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Maria will be joining fellow KTM women champs Sarah Whitmore and Kacy Martinez, as well as old friend and past competitor Sherri Cruze, on the KTM Women's 24 hour team this weekend (Oct. 16th and 17th) at Glen Helen Raceway in SoCal.

After bringing the 2010 GNCC Women's Championship and 10 straight wins to KTM at the Titan in Tennessee, Maria gets her wish to race with the big boys in the Sunday afternoon race at the Iron Man in Crawfordsville, Indiana!

Maria blazes out her 9th straight GNCC win of 10 wins this season in 11 rounds of GNCC racing. How's that for some impressive stats?

WOW!!! Did this summer ever fly bye FAST!

Back home on familiar territory yesterday at Straddeline ORV Park just outside Olympia WA, Maria took her familiar place on the WORCS podium.

What are champions made of?

Mud, rain, ruts... what else would you expect from a GNCC race in Ohio?

Maria's RPM/Factory KTM carries her to her fifth straight victory Sunday morning at Moose Mountain Ridge, PA.  I just did hear from Maria!

What a year! Four straight GNCC wins with five wins in six races so far this season. If you're a fan of Maria, you've gotta love the way the season is going for her.

Maria, piloting her RPM/Factory KTM, tore, tractored, and blazed her way through the Tennesee mud to another remarkable GNCC win.

So Much Fun! That’s how Maria described KTM Photo Week and the AMA End of Season Awards Banquet.

So Cool! I have set up this little notifier on google that notifies me any time news is posted on the internet with Maria's name in the title. I was so excited to find a notice telling me that Maria has been nominated to be the AMA's female racer of the year for 2009 for her performance at the International Six Days Enduro in Portugal!

I know the holidays are busy for everyone but that is my excuse for being a little late telling you about Maria and our trip to the 2009 Endurocross final in Las Vegas this past November 21st. We had a great time this year, as we always do! Maria's mother Cherryl and I drove down with the travel trailer on Tuesday and Wednesday. Maria flew down on Thursday evening with her boyfriend and her father and his friend.

Barely off the plane from Portugal on Monday Maria had only four days to readjust her internal clock and catch a plane to Las Vegas Friday evening,

Six Days is over! I can hardly believe it! The 2009 International Six Days Enduro is now in the books and Maria...

Whew! Five straight grueling days of racing and Maria just keeps doing her thing and hey, it is paying off!

After two days of blasting shoulder deep sand whoops and running a dark poorly lit tunnel, Maria cranks out an awesome day

It's still early but after 4 special tests Maria has already gained on Jonsson in the number two spot and pulled a little more of a gap on 4th place.
